Although I sadly did not get to attend the event on Wednesday, I’m happy to report the winners of the Best Translated Book Award. Neither of the books I was rooting for won, but two books that I haven’t read–but which sound really interesting–did.
For fiction: The Confessions of Noa Weber, a Hebrew translation from Melville House.
For poetry: The Russian Version, a Russian translation from Ugly Duckling Presse.
Now we can all go update our ‘To-Have-Read’ lists…
